50's nightgown and Peplum dress
I got two amazing pieces of vintage clothing from Dandelion Vintage, which came in the mail this week!
I'm in love with this rayon/acetate blend 40's/50's bias-cut nightgown. It's incredibly soft and the color is so pretty. It's also kinda see-through which is why I'm wearing undergarments underneath.
This dress is a really nice 40's rayon day dress with a peplum front. Yes it is a dress, no it is not two separate pieces, but I like that it looks that way. The hat is a mini-top hat from Le Chateaux, I wish I had a nice 40's tilt hat to go with this, or a 40's mini-hat but I don't own one yet so a modern one will have to do.

Va-va-voom, Kitten! Those are some amazing vintage finds! Hey, I notice you're in Calgary. I was born and raised in Alberta! So nice to see another Canadian vintage loving blogger on here. We're a rather scarce sort!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Yeah I'm always on the look out for Canadian vintage blogs! I was born in Toronto but I've been here almost my whole life. I do travel to Toronto a lot though, so I'm familiar with quite a few vintage stores there. I really love traveling in Canada though so I'm always on the look out for info on great places to vintage shop anywhere in the country!
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable...I am gonna follow :)
